My interest in STEM began in 6th grade when I discovered the Polish Junior Olympiad in Informatics. Participating in the competition sparked my passion for problem-solving, algorithms, and computational thinking, which has guided my academic and personal pursuits in computer science ever since.

I am currently a student, actively developing my skills in computer science and mathematics.
Your interest in STEM
My first role model, and someone who continues to inspire me, is Anna Piekarska, the most accomplished woman in the Polish Olympiad in Informatics. She is the only woman from Poland to have participated in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) and achieved a top-three position in the Polish Olympiad in Informatics. Her achievements motivate me to pursue excellence in STEM and to break new ground for women in informatics.
Your studies
My strengths include strong problem-solving skills and discipline in learning algorithms and programming. My main challenges are balancing academic workload with competitions. Opportunities lie in Olympiads, mentorship, and collaborative projects, while staying up-to-date in the rapidly evolving tech field remains a continuous challenge.
I would encourage girls and women to pursue their interests in STEM with confidence and curiosity. Embrace challenges as opportunities to learn, seek out mentors, and participate in competitions or projects that push your skills. Most importantly, believe in your ability to succeed and contribute, your perspective is valuable and needed in this field.
You at work
The University of Wrocław promotes DEIS through initiatives such as supporting women in STEM and fostering inclusion for international students.
I am most proud of winning the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI), which reflects my dedication, problem-solving skills, and ability to excel at an international level in competitive informatics.
