2025 Europe’s Advanced Digital Skills
and Women in Digital Summits

The Advanced Digital Skills and Women in Digital Summits will discuss EU targets and celebrate excellence at the 2025 Digital Skills Awards.
The Commission’s Advanced Digital Skills and Women in Digital flagships will join forces for a combined stakeholder event, providing a key moment to accelerate progress towards the Digital Decade target of 20 million ICT specialists and greater gender balance in tech.
This cooperation reflects the EU’s ambition set out in the Union of Skills and AI Continent Action Plan: to boost Europe’s global leadership and competitiveness through highly skilled talent and strengthen its capacity to lead in advanced digital technologies. To make this happen, the Commission is promoting a strategic dialogue. The Summits invite the most relevant stakeholders and leaders from industry, education, training and policy to unite and share the latest state-of-play, data, best practice and promote joint actions to unlock the talent pipeline and lay the foundations of the future advanced digital skills academies.
The Summits, from 12 to 14 November 2025, will launch the annual Women in Digital Index and the Advanced Digital Skills State-of-Play report, providing comprehensive analysis of the current landscape of advanced digital skills across the EU in the context of the Digital Decade. On the same occasion, the European Digital Skills Awards 2025 Ceremony will highlight and reward outstanding projects and initiatives that contribute to closing the digital skills gap in Europe.
- 12 November: Opening of the Digital Summits, European Digital Skills Awards, and a networking reception (European Digital Skills Awards 2025).
- 13 November: Launch of the ADS State-of-Play report, expert panels on the demand for high-level digital skills. (Europe’s Advanced Digital Skills Summit).
- 14 November: Concluding with the exclusive WiD Forum Assembly. (Women in Digital Summit). Registration is available HERE.
